Electrolysis Hair Removal with Apilus® xCell Pro in Berlin

Apilus® Electrolysis
Electrolysis removes unwanted hair permanently, one hair at a time. With the Apilus® xCell Pro, each hair is treated individually: a fine probe follows the natural hair channel to the root, where the single follicle is treated.
Because the method does not rely on pigment, it suits every skin tone and hair type, including the fine, light, gray, and hormonally influenced hair that laser cannot reliably reach.
Zimmer CryoPro™ cool-air cooling accompanies every treatment without contact and supports a calmer feeling on the skin, especially in more sensitive areas.
Electrolysis with Apilus® xCell Pro
Apilus® xCell Pro is especially suited to precise areas such as the upper lip, chin, and jawline, and to individual hairs where accuracy matters. Smaller areas of the body can be treated as well; for larger areas we plan longer visits, so each part can be worked through calmly and with care.
Every visit begins with a quiet consultation: we read how the skin responds, the hair pattern, and the target zones, and we set a rhythm along the hair-growth cycle. Zimmer CryoPro™ cool-air cooling accompanies the treatment without contact and supports a calmer feeling on the skin. A topical numbing preparation is available on request, and we work with sterile single-use probes, new for each guest.
The length and number of visits depend on density and regrowth. Because each session reaches the hair then in its active growth phase, electrolysis is a sequence of unhurried visits rather than a single treatment. You have a clear sense of orientation from the first visit.
Afterward the skin may look slightly flushed and usually settles quickly. For a few days we suggest sun protection and restrained care; what suits your skin we discuss at every visit.
If you are unsure which treatment is right for you, we begin with an Inanna Consult®. For any question, you can reach us at any time.
The origins of electrolysis
Electrolysis has been practiced since 1875. In that year, the ophthalmologist Dr. Charles Michel in St. Louis described its first documented use, originally for ingrown eyelashes. Its founding principle, treating the single follicle through a fine probe, remains the same today and has been refined over more than a century.
The instrument we work with comes from Québec, Canada. There, Dectro International has developed devices for permanent hair removal since 1978 and, in 1989, introduced the Apilus, the first computer-controlled epilator. The Apilus® xCell Pro works at a signature frequency of 27.12 MHz, which allows short, precise application times and concentrates the energy closely at the probe tip.
Today, Apilus is among the systems used worldwide in electrolysis. Because the method works independently of hair color and skin tone, it reaches what light-based methods cannot: fine, light, gray, and hormonally influenced hair.
At Inanna, the device is never in the foreground. The Meisterinnen des Hauses, the masters of the house, work hair by hair, in a rhythm set by the skin and the hair's own growth. Technology amplifies what hands begin. This stance, accuracy over intensity, is part of the Inanna Method®.
