A chemical peel refines the surface of the skin. At Inanna Wellness we work with the VI Peel®, a carefully balanced combination of actives that we apply in fine layers. Before every visit, your Meisterin des Hauses, the master of the house, takes ten minutes to read your skin that day and attune depth and care to it.
Chemical Peels at Inanna Wellness
Our chemical peels follow one idea: accuracy over intensity. Six gradations of the VI Peel® are available in our house in Berlin-Mitte, from the quiet entry of Classic to the care of larger areas of the body with Body. Each is accompanied by the controlled cooling of the Zimmer CryoPro™, which brings cool air to the skin.
Which gradation suits you depends on your concern, whether an uneven tone, the appearance of pigment marks or of acne scarring, blemish-prone skin, or fine lines. A peel can also be set within a fuller facial treatment.
We do not make that decision in advance or by formula, but together, in the conversation before your visit.
Two origins, one treatment
The VI Peel® comes from the United States, from the Vitality Institute, and was developed by a physician trained in emergency medicine. The aim was a peel that joins visible refinement with tolerability, one that accompanies the skin rather than only taxing it. Rather than relying on the force of single acids, it brings exfoliating and skin-conditioning actives together in one carefully balanced formulation. That combination of resurfacing and care became the signature of the method. In Berlin, as far as we know, only Inanna currently works with the VI Peel®.
Your Meisterin des Hauses applies this formulation in fine layers, calmly and only to the degree your skin tolerates on the day. How many layers she applies governs how deeply the peel reaches, and that depth can be graded finely. Because it can be steered so precisely, the VI Peel also suits a cautious first encounter, where less is the right amount. It is attuned to a broad range of skin tones and meets a number of concerns: an uneven tone, the appearance of pigment marks and age marks, blemish-prone and acne-prone skin, and fine acne scarring. In the days that follow, the surface of the skin refines, gradually and without haste.
The peel is accompanied by the controlled cooling of the Zimmer CryoPro™. It comes from Zimmer MedizinSysteme of Neu-Ulm in Bavaria, a maker that has worked on cooling technology since the late 1960s and is known for its cold-air devices. So two origins meet within a single treatment: the American formulation and the German precision of the cooling. While the peel takes effect, a light tingling can arise, and the cool air eases it.
The VI Peel accompanies work on the face as well as larger areas of the body. For the back or other broad areas, Body is a gradation of its own, while the finer variants remain reserved for the face and the neck.
In the first days after the peel, the skin can flake finely. This belongs to the process and subsides on its own. With this peel, refinement comes less from one strong session than from continuity, in the rhythm your skin sets rather than one imposed on it. How many visits make sense, and at what spacing, we clarify together, never by a fixed formula.
The visit begins with that conversation and then stays calm, with soft light and cool air. Before application, the skin is gently cleansed and prepared, step by step. While the peel takes effect, your Meisterin des Hauses stays at your side, calm and attentive to what your skin shows. For the days after the peel, we give you simple guidance for care, in the same quiet manner as the visit. Behind it stands an attitude we call the Inanna Method®: accuracy over intensity.
