LDM® Triple is intended for skin that does not tolerate intensity well, and for people who prefer precision to overstimulation. The treatment relies not on strong stimuli but on comfort, balance, and a refinement that holds over time. In phases of regeneration, or when skin is more sensitive than usual, this is precisely where its strength lies.
On the face, this ranges from simple renewal and the care of an intact skin barrier to skin that tends toward redness, rosacea, or couperose, and to the calm skin seeks after more intensive treatments. On the body, we use the technology selectively, for the appearance of cellulite, for example, or to support the quality of scars and tissue as part of a course. What exactly is LDM®?
LDM® is an ultrasound method that brings several frequencies into the tissue almost simultaneously, in very rapid alternation and at up to 19 MHz. In place of one strong action, a fine pressure-change massage arises that supports the skin without wounding it or heating it strongly. Research describes, among other effects, a calming influence on stressed tissue and support for the skin's own hyaluronic acid; we speak of this with deliberate restraint and read every skin first.
Can LDM® be done the same day after laser or microneedling?
At Inanna, LDM® Post-Procedure Calming is designed for exactly this transition: the same day, immediately after laser, chemical peeling, or microneedling, when skin looks for quiet. The house behind the care
LDM® Triple means, in this house, not more technology but less. The technology stays in the background and supports what the hands begin, in keeping with the Inanna Method®. Ten minutes belong to every visit here, not only the first: the Inanna Consult®, in which the skin is read on the day, before anything begins.
This care rests in practiced hands. The Meisterinnen des Hauses guide every session with restraint. One senior Meisterin is responsible for the professional work of the house; another trained at the Institut Takumi Finch in Paris, in the tradition of Kobido®. They work by one principle: first listen to what the skin shows, then do the lesser thing.
LDM® stands for Local Dynamic Micro-massage, a patented technology from the German manufacturer Wellcomet in Karlsruhe. Its principle goes back to the research of Dr. Ilja Kruglikov, who first described the role of very high-frequency ultrasound waves for the skin in the scientific literature in 2010; since then the method has been the subject of numerous international studies. Three frequencies work together in the configurations 1/3/10 MHz and 3/10/19 MHz, alternating up to around a thousand times per second: 19 MHz acts near the surface at a depth of about 0.15 mm, 10 MHz at around 3 mm, the lower frequencies deeper still. In place of a single, forceful action, this creates a fine, dynamic micro-massage of the tissue. Worldwide, the technology is in use in more than 5,000 devices.
