An analysis is a tool here, not a verdict. It shows a condition on one day, and its real value arrives later, in the comparison over time. What follows are the questions we are asked most often, answered the way we would answer them in the room.

How much does a skin analysis cost in Berlin?

Inanna Consult® costs €50 and is credited in full. The in-depth skin analysis Inanna Skin360® runs sixty minutes and the hair and scalp analysis Inanna Hair360® forty; both fees sit on the cards below. Inanna Check-Up® after a Journey is the one appointment that is not credited. What sits inside those sixty minutes is what the price is for: the standardised capture, five separate measurements, the interpretation in conversation, and a record that stays and is compared at the next appointment. A quick photograph is a different thing from a basis that holds over years.

Where can I get a professional skin analysis in Berlin?

In Berlin-Mitte, at Charlottenstrasse 19, in a private house for skin and hair. The appointment takes place in a room of its own, with no waiting area and no audience. What carries it, though, is not the address. Intake, capture, measurement and the reading of the scalp stand here in one house, in one method. What is the difference between Inanna Consult® and Inanna Skin360®?

Inanna Consult® is the conversation: fifteen minutes in which we look at your skin or your scalp, listen, and say what we would recommend and what is not needed. Inanna Skin360® is the measurement that goes with it: sixty minutes with VISIA® and the Skin Instant Lab®, producing a documented basis that can be compared year after year.

Does the hair analysis belong here too?

Yes. Inanna Hair360® reads scalp and hair density with Canfield D2 and the HairMetrix® workflow, without shaving. The appointment runs forty minutes. What happens during a skin analysis, and how long does it take?

It begins with a written intake. It asks about skin history and past treatments, and about what no device measures: sleep, strain, sun, nutrition, environment, and the care that actually happens at home. Then you arrive without make-up, or we take it off unhurriedly, in a room of your own. Then comes the capture in the booth, under constant light and with the same head position, then the probe readings. The result is shown sitting down, with the reading beside it. The ultraviolet image brings out pigment beneath the surface that no mirror shows. It can land hard, which is why it never stands alone. What a value means, and what it does not mean, we say before we speak about care. The images are yours. Inanna Skin360® runs sixty minutes, Inanna Hair360® forty, the consultation fifteen. No separate orientation is added, because an analysis is already the conversation.

What does a VISIA® skin analysis show?

VISIA® photographs the whole face under constant light, in standard, polarised and ultraviolet modes. It evaluates eight features: spots, wrinkles, texture, pores, UV spots, brown spots, red areas and porphyrins. It also brings forward what sits beneath the surface and cannot be seen in a mirror. It is a photograph with an evaluation, not a medical examination.

What does the Skin Instant Lab® measure?

Five probes take objective readings. They are hydration, water loss across the skin barrier, elasticity, pigment and sebum. The underlying methods are corneometry, TEWL measurement, cutometry, melanin absorption and photometric sebumetry. They have been used in skin research for decades and are described in the guidelines of the EEMCO group. What is measured is the condition on this particular day, not a fixed skin type.

Do skin analysis machines actually work, and how accurate are they?

Accurate enough to compare change, and not accurate enough to judge a person. A study published in 2023 found that the absolute scores are markedly more precise than the percentiles by which a skin is set against a reference group. A skin age derived from them can be several years out for an individual. So we read the absolute values, and we tell you where a number holds and where it does not.

What is an AI skin analysis?

An umbrella term covering very different things. Here, artificial intelligence works inside the HairMetrix® workflow. It counts hair density and calibre from a dermatoscopic image. The facial capture with VISIA® computes by documented imaging methods rather than by a learning model. And an app that scores a selfie is a diversion, not a measurement.

Is there such a thing as a free skin analysis?

At cosmetics counters and in pharmacies, often yes. A free analysis is almost always part of a sales conversation, which is legitimate and still a different thing from advice that has nothing to sell. Here the consultation is paid and credited in full, which comes to the same in the end and makes one difference: we are free to tell you that you need nothing.

Dermatologist or beauty institute for a skin analysis?

It depends on your question, and the cost follows from it. If it concerns moles, skin cancer screening, an investigation of hair loss, or blood values, that belongs in a doctor's practice, where it is a physician's service billed accordingly. If it concerns reading the condition of your skin, documenting it and deriving care from it, that is cosmetic work at a fixed price, and that is what we are here for.

Is a skin analysis worth it?

It is worth it if you intend to do something with it. A single reading is an interim position; its value comes from the comparison over time, because that is what shows whether a routine is holding. If your skin is calm and you are content, we will say that just as plainly.

How often should a skin analysis be repeated?

For most people a rhythm between six and twelve months holds, much like a dental check. Anyone following a course of sessions repeats at the shorter end of that range. Because every capture is made under the same conditions, the next appointment compares your skin and not the circumstances, which is the whole reason to repeat an analysis at all.
